Inspired by Munich's Oktoberfest, the Dubai Oktoberfest features numerous local events.
The Bavarian-style events offer local delicacies of traditional Bavarian cuisine, including roast chicken, bratwurst, pretzels, apple strudel, and, of course, Bavarian beer, served fresh in steins.
Various live bands, such as "Die Kirchdorfer," brass bands, and DJs provide entertainment. The festivities are rounded off with typical Bavarian decorations, traditional costumes, and lederhosen.
